Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas believes that his side will need a minimum of 70 points to qualify for next season's Champions League.

Tottenham Hotspur Andre Villas-Boas has insisted that his side need to win at least five of their remaining fixtures to finish in the top four of the Premier League.

Spurs are currently in fourth place, four points ahead of Arsenal who have played one game fewer, and Villas-Boas believes that his side have their points target in reach.

The former Porto boss told the Daily Mail: "Normally, to finish in the top four, requires in the 70-72 point margin.

"70 is usually enough to be in the four spots. There are 24 points to be played for so that means we need 16 more points. You never know, but I think at this time we are within our objectives."

The White Hart Lane outfit return to action after the international break with a trip to Swansea City.
