Mauricio Pochettino: Tottenham Hotspur's Son Heung-min out injured for "weeks"

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino says that forward Son Heung-min will be absent with a foot injury for "a few weeks".

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino has said that forward Son Heung-min will be absent with a foot injury for "a few weeks".

The 23-year-old has scored three goals in four appearances since joining the club in the summer transfer window, but Pochettino says that the South Korean international will need to be monitored in October.

"[It's] bad news about Son because he got a foot injury in the game against Manchester City, and we have to assess him for the next few weeks," Pochettino told Sky Sports News.

"It's not a big issue but, we need to assess him day by day, but maybe [he'll miss] a few weeks out."

Tottenham will take on Swansea City in the Premier League on Sunday.
