Tottenham will reportedly consider returning to White Hart Lane for any potential Europa League games after playing their home Champions League fixtures at Wembley.

Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly consider leaving Wembley in favour of playing any potential Europa League games at White Hart Lane.

The North London outfit have been playing their home games in the Champions League at Wembley as their stadium does not meet the requirements due to construction work on the new ground.

Wembley attracted more than 85,000 fans for Spurs' two European games in the tournament so far, but both of those matches - against AS Monaco and Bayer Leverkusen - ended in defeats.

The club's final group fixture at the ground will be played against CSKA Moscow in two weeks' time, when a win will result in Europa qualification following Tuesday night's elimination from the Champions League.

According to The Telegraph, Spurs want to return to White Hart Lane if their European campaign continues in the second-tier competition, and they could get their wish as the club's deal with the FA only includes playing Champions League fixtures at Wembley.

It is believed that UEFA will consider any request for Spurs to return to their home ground.
