Roberto Di Matteo ready to get going at Schalke

Schalke manager Roberto Di Matteo insists that the attacking threat his new side possess is "very big".

Roberto Di Matteo has admitted that Schalke 04 must improve their organisation in order to climb up the Bundesliga table.

The former Chelsea boss takes charge of his first game in charge of the German side this weekend when Hertha Berlin visit the Veltins-Arena.

Schalke have won just two of their seven league games so far this season, a run of results in which Di Matteo is keen to rectify from the off.

"I watched some of Schalke's matches and got some ideas," the Italian told reporters. "I think the attacking potential of the team is very big, but we have to improve our organisation.

"As I said, it's always about the team. The players have to work for the team. In the squad there are some key players who have to help the team and give all their quality to the team and not just to themselves as an individual."

The Royal Blues are currently 11th in the league table.
