A representative of Ashley Cole has rubbished reports that the Roma defender is close to joining Crystal Palace.
The former England international has been linked with a loan move to Selhurst Park due to a lack of first-team action in Italy.
However, David Mannaseh insists that the 33-year-old is happy at the Stadio Olimpico.
"Ashley is loving life in Italy and in Rome. He has never been happier," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "Whoever has given this information out is a disgrace because all it does is give fans of a football club false hope.
"Ashley is concentrating on trying to win trophies in Italy and, in particular, Serie A this season. Nothing else."
Cole spent part of the 1999-2000 campaign on loan at Palace while he was playing for Arsenal.
