Real Madrid midfielder Martin Odegaard has said that he looks to Cristiano Ronaldo for tips when training with the Los Blancos first team.
The 16-year-old replaced Ronaldo to become Real's youngest ever debutant in May, and admits that he is taking in as much advice from the three-time Ballon d'Or winner as possible.
"He's given me lots of tips," the Norway international told NTB. "We train together from time to time so I try to learn as much as possible from him. There are a lot of things you can pick up from a player as good as him."
When asked about Ronaldo's recently referring to the young midfielder as one of the world's brightest upcoming football talents, he stated: "It's great to hear that from the best player in the world."
Odegaard, who turns 17 next week, has recently been linked with a loan move to Scottish giants Celtic.
