Team News: Angel di Maria starts against Real Madrid

Angel di Maria is named in Paris Saint-Germain's starting lineup for the visit of Real Madrid in the Champions League.

Angel di Maria has been handed a starting spot for Paris Saint-Germain in tonight's Champions League group-stage clash against former side Real Madrid.

Fitness doubts Kevin Trapp and Marco Verratti are both able to feature from the off for PSG, although there is no place for David Luiz in the matchday squad.

The hosts are likely to start in their familiar 4-3-3 set-up, with Edinson Cavani and Di Maria playing either side of focal attacker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Los Blancos also had questions marks hanging over certain key players this week, with Sergio Ramos the only star to have shaken off his knock in time to start.

Luke Modric could also play a part, but he has to settle for a place among the Madrid subs as they look to improve on a record of one win in their five meetings against the Parisians.

Paris Saint-Germain: Trapp; Aurier, Marquinhos, Silva, Maxwell; Verratti, Motta, Matuidi; Di Maria, Ibrahimovic, Cavani
Subs: Sirigu, Kurzawa, Van der Wiel, Lucas, Rabiot, Pastore, Lavezzi

Real Madrid: Navas; Danilo, Ramos, Varane, Marcelo; Kroos, Casemiro, Isco; Jese, Ronaldo, Vasquez
Subs: Casilla, Nacho, Kovacic, Modric, Cheryshev, Llorente, Mayoral
