Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid were forced to settle for a point apiece in a goalless draw on Wednesday.
Real Madrid entered the Champions League match top of Group A due to their superior goal difference, and that remains the case following a stalemate between the two European giants.
PSG, who have still never lost to Real Madrid in a competitive match in Paris, had their moments on home soil, but only managed two attempts on target to Real Madrid's four.
Here, Sports Mole takes a closer look at how each player performed in Paris.

Goal
Kevin Trapp: Did not have an awful lot to do for long spells, but made an excellent save to deny Jese Rodriguez and also twice kept out Cristiano Ronaldo. Was a strong presence for the hosts. (7/10)
Defence
Serge Aurier: Comfortably PSG's best player on the night. Given the nod at right-back and certainly did not disappoint as he rampaged down the wing all evening. Was also strong defensively. (8/10)
Thiago Silva: Came close to opening the scoring in the first half with a powerful header, but could not keep his attempt down. Used all of his experience to cut off a number of Real attacks. (7/10)
Marquinhos: The absence of David Luiz meant that the Brazilian was given the chance to start alongside Silva and he did not disappoint. Was very solid at the heart of the defence. (7/10)
Maxwell: Not as dangerous going forward as Aurier down the opposite side, but made some vital clearances, including one in the first period when a loose ball bounced inside the box. (7/10)
Midfield
Marco Verratti: Neat and tidy in possession of the ball, but the Italian picked up a yellow card just before the hour and was replaced for the final 10 minutes. Has had much better games. (6/10)
Thiago Motta: Set up a number of half-chances with his excellent set-piece delivery, but his teammates could not capitalise. Performed a important role in the centre of the park. (7/10)
Blaise Matuidi: Had PSG's only attempt on target in the first period, but his strike did not really test Keylor Navas. Used his power and ability to drive his team forward in the second half. (7/10)
Attack
Angel di Maria: Started very brightly as he linked with Aurier in a wide position, but the Argentine faded badly in the second period and was replaced in the 67th minute of action. (5/10)
Zlatan Ibrahimovic: Largely disappointing night for the Swede, who did not really threaten until the very final moments. Did not have much change out of Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane. (6/10)
Edinson Cavani: Hardly had a sniff in the first period and saw his only real effort in the second blocked by Ramos. Was replaced alongside Di Maria for the final 20 minutes. (5/10)
Substitutes
Javier Pastore: Will have been disappointed to have been left on the bench once again, but the Argentine showed a good attitude when he entered and was busy in midfield. (6/10)
Lucas Moura: Introduced in the 67th minute and looked more threatening than Di Maria. Headed over the crossbar from close range late on and was keen to get involved in the final third. (6/10)
Ezequiel Lavezzi: Thrown on for the final 10 minutes as Laurent Blanc attempted to nick a winning goal, but the Argentine did not have many opportunities to use his pace. (6/10)

Goal
Keylor Navas: Like Trapp down the other end, did not have much to do, but was there when called upon. Has been simply excellent since being given the gloves at the start of the season. (7/10)
Defence
Danilo: There was space for the Brazilian to exploit due to Cavani's unwillingness to track back, but while the Brazilian was strong defensively, he did not offer much down the other end. (7/10)
Raphael Varane: Showed PSG what they are missing with an excellent performance at the heart of the defence. Strong aerially and comfortable bringing the ball forward, he was brilliant. (8/10)
Sergio Ramos: Was a doubt for the match due to an ongoing shoulder problem, but played with a painkilling injection. Put in a really strong defensive performance to keep PSG's forwards quiet. (7/10)
Marcelo: Man-of-the-match performance from the Brazilian, who was excellent at both ends of the field. Kept Di Maria very quiet and was also a big threat when he ventured forward. (8/10)
Midfield
Casemiro: Injuries in the squad mean that the Brazilian midfielder has seen plenty of football in recent weeks and he once again put in a dominant performance here. Protected his defence well. (7/10)
Toni Kroos: Hardly gave the ball away during another super performance from the German international. Always looked in space and kept things moving in the middle of the park. (7/10)
Isco: Showed bits and pieces of his undoubted ability, but was a little wasteful in possession when given time and space in the PSG half. Was the first Real Madrid player to be subbed. (6/10)
Attack
Jese Rodriguez: Had the best chance of the first period after collecting a pass from Kroos, but his low effort was saved by Trapp. Lively performance, but lacked an end product in Paris. (6/10)
Cristiano Ronaldo: Came close with a couple of attempts in the first period and also had half-chances in the second. Always dangerous, but not one of his best nights for Real. (6/10)
Lucas Vasquez: Given a rare chance to start due to Los Blancos' currently injury list and the Spaniard was busy in the final third. Saw a couple of decent attempts miss the target. (6/10)
Substitutes
Luka Modric: Was not expected to feature after struggling with a thigh problem, but the midfielder was thrown on the final 20 minutes. Did not have any problem getting around the pitch. (6/10)
Denis Cheryshev: Given a chance to shine in the final 15 minutes, but the Russian's only real contribution was an effort that flew well wide of the post late on. Desperately needs games. (6/10)
