Jose Mourinho says that Raul Albiol could replace the injured Pepe in the Real Madrid defence against Galatasaray on Tuesday.

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has revealed that Raul Albiol could start against Galatasaray in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie on Tuesday.

The Spanish defender will replace fellow centre-back Pepe, who suffered an injury during Los Blancos' 5-1 home win against Levante in La Liga on Saturday.

"Following the Levante game, we had some injury worries about Pepe, so we'll wait for tomorrow and then see," he told reporters on Monday. "Albiol may play instead of him.

"We expect a sold-out stadium with a very intense environment tomorrow. Although the fans could be intimidating, my players and I thrive in that kind of atmosphere.

"If we lose 2-0 or 3-1 tomorrow, even though we will progress, I won't return home a happy man. I want my team to win."

Madrid won the first leg 3-0 at home last week.
