Queens Park Rangers manager Neil Warnock has said he is "delighted" with his team's performance after they were held to a 0-0 draw with Newcastle.
"I'm delighted, not just with the point but the way we played," Warnock told Sky Sports.
Warnock, who made a host of late summer signings following the takeover of Tony Fernandes, added that he was pleased with the team's togetherness.
"It's difficult to get five or six new players and we've probably had three or four days training after the international break and to see them perform like that, that's just what I expect from them really."
Warnock instated new signing Joey Barton as QPR captain and said he was pleased with his new skipper's display.
"I thought he epitomised everything about us and he brought the best out of [Alejandro] Faurlin and [Shaun] Derry."
QPR next face a trip to Wolves on Saturday.
