Paris Saint-Germain centre-back Thiago Silva has expressed his desire to see teammate Zlatan Ibrahimovic remain at the club next season.
Ibrahimovic has been linked with a move away from PSG having helped them to the Ligue 1 title last season, with the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester City reported to be interested in the striker.
"Will Zlatan stay? I don't know. You know how important he is," Silva told L'Equipe.
"He is a winner and a friend too. We had a phone call but we didn't talk about his future. I hope he will stay.
"We were close to beating Barcelona in the Champions League last season. This year I expect us to do well again and I think we could win the Champions League."
Ibrahimovic scored 35 goals in 46 appearances for PSG last season.
