Portugal defender Pepe has claimed that Germany didn't deserve their 1-0 victory in Saturday's Euro 2012 Group B match in Lviv.
Mario Gomez's second-half header has seen Joachim Low's side move to the top of the 'Group of Death' following Denmark's surprise win over Holland.
"We worked hard and we had more chances to score," said Pepe. "I spoke with (Germany forward and Real Madrid teammate) Mesut Ozil after the game and he said that we are a great side and that the fairest result would have been a draw.
"They ran out winners in a match they did not deserve to win."
Portugal next face Denmark on Wednesday, while Germany take on Holland.
