The Blackburn Rovers action group plan to protest against the club's owners and boss Steve Kean ahead of the Lancashire side's home fixture to Norwich City this weekend.

The Blackburn Rovers action group have announced that they will line the streets in an attempt to oust manager Steve Kean and owners Venky's next Saturday.

The supporters are due to go ahead with the march prior to Blackburn's Premier League encounter with Norwich City at Ewood Park displaying the message 'Blackburn wants its Rovers back'.

The action group released a statement, which said: "Our football club is a 137 year old institution which has seen its traditions and values destroyed in less than 18 months.

"It takes only a few hands to bulldoze our club but it will take many hands to rebuild it and the whole community needs to come together to breathe life back into Blackburn Rovers. Venky's cannot make us feel inferior if we do not give them our consent."

The Lancashire club are currently three points from Premier League survival, with four games left to play in the season.
