Newcastle midfielder Cheick Tiote does not intend to leave the club.

Newcastle United midfielder Cheick Tiote has said that he does not intend to leave the club.

The 25-year-old has been linked with a number of teams, including Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool.

"I am flattered by clubs interested but there is nothing official," he told Sky Sports News.

"When teams such as Chelsea, City, Liverpool, United are interested in you it makes you think twice, but I love Newcastle, I belong to Newcastle and I enjoy my life here."

The Ivorian signed a six-and-a-half-year contract at the Sports Direct Arena in February.
