Nigel de Jong is to miss the Netherlands's upcoming games against Mexico and Latvia due to a hamstring injury.

The AC Milan midfielder has been replaced in the squad by PSV Eindhoven forward Luuk de Jong.

Meanwhile, Queens Park Rangers's Leroy Fer has been called up by manager Guus Hiddink as a replacement for the injured Davy Klaassen.
