Hoffenheim's Roberto Firmino plays down interest from Manchester United

Roberto Firmino responds to reported interest from Manchester United by insisting that he is happy at Hoffenheim.

Roberto Firmino has played down reported interest from Manchester United by insisting that he is happy at Hoffenheim.

Another impressive Bundesliga campaign has been rewarded with a place in the last two Brazil squads, and the attacking midfielder's form has seen him linked with a summer switch to Old Trafford in recent weeks.

However, the 23-year-old claims that he has not thought about leaving the Rhein-Neckar Arena as he continues to focus on helping the club to Europa League qualification.

"I have a contract with Hoffenheim until 2017 and I'm happy here," Firmino told reporters. "I have developed a lot at this club and right now all I'm thinking about is playing for Hoffenheim."

Firmino has found the net nine times in 30 appearances this season.
