Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly in no rush to return to management and will continue to monitor events at Manchester United, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer under pressure.

Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly keeping a close eye on developments at Manchester United and is happy to bide his time in the hope of replacing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

United boss Solskjaer has been under increasing pressure at Old Trafford following a disappointing start to the 2020-21 campaign.

However, the Red Devils beat Everton 3-1 in their last match before the international break - a result that appears to have bought Solskjaer some time.

Pochettino, out of work since leaving Tottenham Hotspur 12 months ago, is widely considered to be United's top choice to succeed the Norwegian should he eventually be axed.

According to The Athletic, the Argentinian is in no rush to return to management and will continue to monitor the situation over the coming weeks.

The same report indicates that Pochettino's stance may alter should the Paris Saint-Germain job become available, though, with Thomas Tuchel another seemingly living off borrowed time.
