Chris Smalling has said that Manchester United must treat their remaining games like cup finals.

Manchester United defender Chris Smalling has said that each of the club's remaining fixtures will be "like a cup final" in the race for the Premier League title.

Smalling, whose side are two points out of first place ahead of this afternoon's showdown with West Bromwich Albion, insists that United cannot afford to be complacent with just over ten games left in the season.

"We're not [feeling complacent]," he told the club's official website. "We need to make sure we set our stall out, win our games and score a few goals in the run-in.

"It's often the case that teams who are written off will go out and do something special, like West Brom beating Chelsea.

"It's going to be another big test for us. There are 11 games to go and each one will be like a cup final. We'll be treating them like that."

Meanwhile, West Brom travel to Old Trafford with ten goals in their last three games.
