Sir Alex Ferguson backs Javier Hernandez to succeed at Real Madrid

Sir Alex Ferguson is confident that Javier Hernandez will succeed at Real Madrid following his loan move from Manchester United.

Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson believes that Javier Hernandez will rediscover his goalscoring form at Real Madrid.

The Mexican forward moved to the Bernabeu on Monday on a season-long loan after dropping down the pecking order at Old Trafford.

Hernandez, who played under Ferguson at United, scored 20 goals during his debut season with the North-West outfit back in 2010.

"Hernandez will do well in Madrid," Ferguson told Tutto Mercato. "I am sure he will score many goals. He concentrates hard and his dream has always been to play for Real."

Following Hernandez's departure, United signed Radamel Falcao from Monaco on a season-long loan.
