Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick has claimed that he has no problems fighting for his position following the arrival of Marouane Fellaini.
The Belgium international became the only major signing made by the Premier League champions in the transfer window after United agreed a £27m deal with Everton on deadline day.
"It's something I welcome," FIFA.com quotes Carrick as saying. "The more top-quality players you have in your squad, whether it's in my position or not, the better it is for the team. It's not a case of me thinking I might not be in the team. I will still have to play well to be in it regardless."
United currently sit seventh in the Premier League table following three games.
