England boss Fabio Capello says that Wayne Rooney will "absolutely not" let the news of his father's arrest affect his performance against Montenegro.

England manager Fabio Capello has revealed that Wayne Rooney has "no problems" about playing in tomorrow's Euro 2012 qualifier against Montenegro despite the announcement of his father's arrest regarding an alleged betting scam.

The Three Lions boss said that he spoke to the Manchester United star after it emerged that his father, Thomas Rooney, along with his uncle had been arrested.

"I spoke with [Wayne] five minutes ago and I found him relaxed and calm with no problems for the game against Montenegro," Capello said in a press conference.

When asked if the allegations could affect the striker's performance, the Italian replied: "No, absolutely not."

Despite only needing a point to qualify for the tournament, the former Real Madrid boss insists that his side will go all out for victory.

"We need to play to win and I think the players understand we need to play the same way that we do away from home," he added.

"It will be a tough game but we play better away because it's easy for us to find space for the forwards."

The 65-year-old revealed that he will make his decision on who will partner Rooney up front, as well as who will take the right-back position, tomorrow morning.
