Pep Guardiola hails "amazing" Kevin De Bruyne following win over Bournemouth

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola describes midfielder Kevin De Bruyne as "terrific" and "amazing" after playing a part in all their side's goals against Bournemouth.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has hailed Kevin De Bruyne after the Belgian produced a dominant display in his side's 4-0 win against Bournemouth.

The former Chelsea midfielder was involved in all his side's goals at the Etihad on Saturday, opening the scoring and playing a significant part in the other three.

Guardiola said after the game: "Our high pressing was not perfect today, we had problems with controlling the Bournemouth build-up, but we created a lot of counter attacks.

"We are so lucky that we have Kevin De Bruyne with us. The performance from him was terrific, amazing. He is on another level. He is a fantastic player and helps us a lot."

The result means that Man City have eight wins out of eight in all competitions this season.
