Sergio Aguero: 'Recovery already underway'

Manchester City's Sergio Aguero reveals that he is already starting to recover from a hamstring injury that he suffered at the weekend.

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has revealed that he has already started his recovery from a hamstring injury.

The Argentine international suffered the problem during Saturday's 6-3 victory over Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium.

A scan revealed that the 25-year-old would be out of action until January, but that has not prevented him from starting an early treatment process.

"It's confirmed - my calf injury will leave me out for at least a month. The good news is recovery work starts today," he wrote on Twitter.

"We started with therapeutic massages on the area and some bike work. I'll keep you posted. Thanks for the support!"

Aguero has scored 19 goals in all competitions for City so far this season.
