Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina says that it is "normal" for rival clubs to be interested in frontman Luis Suarez due to the Uruguayan's scintillating form.

Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina believes that it is "normal" for other clubs to be interested in striker Luis Suarez.

The Uruguayan was linked with a move to Manchester City last week but both clubs rubbished the claims.

"Luis is on fire," Sky Sports News quotes Reina as saying. "He is in really good form and he looks like he can score every game and for us that is very important because we need to profit from that.

"He will attract the interest of many clubs, it is only normal, but he is quite happy at Liverpool and that is the important thing for us and the supporters. He is certainly a world-class striker and that is a good thing he is playing for Liverpool."

The 25-year-old added two more goals to his tally in the Reds' 3-0 win over Wigan Athletic on Saturday.
