Joe Cole eyes Lille stay

Joe Cole says that his future is undecided but that he would love to stay at Lille.

Joe Cole has said the he would "love" to stay at Lille next season.

The on-loan Liverpool midfielder has been in good form for the reigning Ligue 1 champions since his season-long switch last summer.

However, the 30-year-old has admitted that a decision on his future is out of his hands.

"I would love to stay," said the England international. "But it's not in my hands. I haven't spoken to anyone at Liverpool; I'm waiting to hear something."

Cole joined Liverpool on a free transfer in the summer of 2010.
