Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish admits that his side have problems in the attacking third.

Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish has admitted that his side has problems in the attacking third.

The Merseyside club slumped to a 0-0 draw against Stoke City at the weekend.

Only two players – Luis Suarez and Craig Bellamy – have scored more than two goals for the club this season. Dalglish has now conceded that their goalscoring will have to improve if they are to qualify for a European place.

"Deliveries into the box have got to be a lot better than what they were and we have to be more decisive when we get up there," said the Scot.

"We had plenty of possession but there was nothing to finish it.

"We fell down because we never passed it to someone in a red shirt who could put it in the back of the net. We lacked a bit of creativity. It wasn't a great spectacle."

Liverpool face relegation candidates Bolton in the late kickoff on Saturday.
