Rio Mavuba admits that he could look to leave Lille in the summer.

Lille midfielder and captain Rio Mavuba has said that he will either sign a new long-term deal in the summer or move elsewhere.

Mavuba said that his decision might be made for him should the club not opt to bring in new players to play alongside the young squad at Lille.

"Either I commit myself for the long-term, or I say 'bye-bye'," he told L'Equipe

"I have had talks with the officials and they have told me they want to keep the same group together.

"It is impossible to play a whole season with only young players, even if they are good."

Lille are currently fifth in Ligue 1.
