Gianluigi Buffon is believed to be close to signing a new deal at Juventus which will prolong his professional career past his 39th birthday.
The long-serving goalkeeper is currently contracted to the Serie A champions until the end of the 2016 season, but is in talks over a one-year extension.
He told reporters: "I have not renewed yet, but there are no problems either.
"There is a sense of unity with the staff and the president. We are talking about it and soon everything will be defined."
Buffon, 36, has made nearly 500 appearances for Juve since becoming the world's most expensive goalkeeper when he swapped Parma for Turin for £23m in 2001.
