Report: David McGoldrick set to leave Ipswich Town

David McGoldrick is reportedly set to leave Ipswich Town this summer following the expiry of his contract at Portman Road.

David McGoldrick is reportedly set to leave Ipswich Town this summer.

The 30-year-old has been at Portman Road since 2013, initially on loan from Nottingham Forest before penning a permanent deal in East Anglia ahead of the 2013-14 season.

McGoldrick, who has battled injury problems for a number of years, is out of contract with the Blues at the end of the season and, according to the Ipswich Star, will be leaving the club.

The report also claims that no new deal has been offered to the former Southampton forward as of yet, although negotiations are believed to have taken place.

McGoldrick has scored 45 goals in 126 starts and 33 substitute appearances since first donning the Ipswich shirt in January 2013.
