Marc Muniesa has left Stoke City to sign for Girona on a permanent deal.
The defender spent the latter half of last term on loan with the Spanish club and has now joined them on a full-time basis.
"The club would like to place on record our thanks to Marc and wish him all the best for the future," read a statement on the official Stoke website.
Muniesa made more than 60 appearances for the Potters in all competitions after moving to England from his native Spain in 2013.
The 26-year-old featured 14 times for Girona last season.
