Ross McCormack "really happy" with new Fulham deal

Fulham striker Ross McCormack admits that he is "really happy" to have penned a contract extension with the club until 2019.

Ross McCormack has admitted that he is "really happy" to have signed a new contract with Fulham.

The Scottish striker will remain at Craven Cottage until 2019 after penning fresh terms on Friday.

McCormack scored 19 goals for the Cottagers last season following an £11m move from Leeds United.

"I'm really happy," he told Fulham's official website. "When I signed I had a year's option on my contract and the club and I have come to an agreement to extend that.

"I think if we don't get in the playoffs it will be another disappointing season. I've been in this league a long time and know promotion is not easy, but we have points targets and then we will see where we are come February and March."

Fulham are back in Championship action tomorrow when they host Brighton & Hove Albion.
