Ian Holloway is confident that Crystal Palace can keep striker Kevin Phillips.

Crystal Palace manager Ian Holloway believes that striker Kevin Phillips will pen a new contract with the club.

The veteran suggested that he could leave Selhurst Park by claiming that he had received a 'tempting' offer from another club.

Despite his initial comments, Phillips has claimed that he wants to continue competing for the Eagles.

"Kev's coming back in for training," the South London Press quotes Holloway as saying. "He'll take about five minutes to sort out I believe."

Phillips is currently out of contract.
