Crystal Palace hope to re-sign Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek on loan next season, according to a report.

Crystal Palace are reportedly hopeful of re-signing Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek on loan next season.

Loftus-Cheek spent the 2017-18 campaign on loan at Palace - scoring two goals and registering four assists in 24 Premier League appearances during a successful spell.

The 22-year-old is currently with the England squad at the 2018 World Cup, and has impressed in his country's first two group games of this summer's competition.

Everton, Newcastle United and West Ham United have all been linked with loan moves for the Blues midfielder, but according to the London Evening Standard, Palace feel that they are in pole position for the Englishman.

Loftus-Cheek has scored twice in 32 first-team appearances for Chelsea since debuting in 2014.
