Hulk believes that Porto supporters will understand if he decides to leave the Portuguese club this summer.

Porto frontman Hulk has dropped the biggest hint yet that he could be on his way out of the Portuguese club.

The Brazilian striker has been linked with a move to Champions League winners Chelsea in recent months, with some reports claiming that a £38m deal has already been agreed between the two parties.

"If the time has come to leave Porto, the club and its fans will forever have a place in my heart," Hulk told Lancenet. "I can only thank them for all the affection they've shown me.

"I will always continue to work hard and keep my feet on the ground, regardless of whether I stay at Porto. I have won many titles in the past four years at Porto, and I think that I have a great relationship with everyone. "

"If the time has come to move on, I'll do so with a good feeling. I have enjoyed a great time here. I'm sure that they will understand the motives behind my decision if I leave."

Rumours recently emerged claiming that Hulk has a release clause worth £80m in his contract.
