Chelsea are reportedly keen to wrap up a double deal for RB Leipzig players Josko Gvardiol and Christopher Nkunku this summer.
As it stands, the Premier League giants are unable to buy, sell or renegotiate contracts, but it was revealed last Friday that a consortium led by Todd Boehly were on the brink of finalising a takeover.
Head coach Thomas Tuchel is expected to be busy in the transfer market once allowed with strengthening in defence and attack on his list of priorities.
According to Sky Deutschland, the German boss is taking an interest in Gvardiol and Nkunku after their strong seasons for Leipzig.
The Bundesliga outfit have already insisted that Nkunku is not for sale this summer, while Gvardiol is only in the first year of a long-term contract.
Nevertheless, it is claimed that the Blues will attempt to negotiate terms with their opposite numbers at Leipzig, an agreement only likely being possible if Chelsea are prepared to spend in excess of £75m.
