Chelsea defender Ashley Cole has reportedly been questioned by the Football Association regarding the investigation involving referee Mark Clattenburg.
The England international is believed to have been quizzed over claims that the Premier League match official had used "inappropriate language" while addressing Blues midfielder John Obi Mikel during Chelsea's 3-2 defeat to Manchester United last month.
It had originally been suggested that the outcome of the investigation would be announced last week but the findings have since been delayed.
It is believed that Clattenburg will learn his fate by the end of this week.
