Maicon: 'I will be ready for Chelsea striker Diego Costa'

Porto captain Maicon insists that he will be prepared to face Chelsea striker Diego Costa in the two sides' Champions League fixture.

Porto captain Maicon has suggested that he is relishing the chance to play against Diego Costa in his side's Champions League clash with Chelsea.

The 27-year-old centre-back - who has made 159 appearances for the club - admits that Costa has a confrontational style, but insists he will be prepared for the match-up.

"Every player has his style," Maicon is quoted as saying by The Express.

"I will be physically and mentally prepared for Diego Costa. I have to do my best."

The two sides will meet at the Estadio do Dragao this evening.
