Charlton Athletic vs. Barnsley postponed due to waterlogged pitch

Charlton Athletic's game with Barnsley at The Valley is postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Charlton Athletic's clash against Barnsley in the Championship has been postponed.

The Addicks were due to host the Tykes this afternoon, but after a 1pm pitch inspection at The Valley, referee Iain Williamson has decided that playing the game would be unsafe.

A waterlogged pitch has put paid to the fixture going ahead and the match will be replayed on Tuesday, January 14.

Barnsley are currently bottom of the Championship, while Charlton are 19th.
