Neil Lennon: 'Champions League draw a logistical nightmare'

Celtic manager Neil Lennon believes that the team face a logistical nightmare travelling to their Champions League game against Kazakhstan's Shakhter Karagandy.

Neil Lennon has described Celtic's Champions League draw as "logistically a nightmare".

The Scottish Champions will face Kazakh side Shakhter Karagandy in the playoffs, travelling to the club's Shakhtyor Stadium later this month.

The Hoops manager told reporters: "The draw is a bit of an unknown one for us. Logistically it will be a nightmare in terms of travelling.

"It could have been kinder but it could have been tougher as well. It will be impossible for me to go and watch them, but hopefully we'll have some representation over there."

Last season, Celtic beat Barcelona in the group stage of the tournament before losing to Juventus in the knockout stage.
