Experienced attacker Joaquin has reiterated his desire to 'return home' to Real Betis.
The 34-year-old came through the youth system at Betis and went on to make over 200 league appearances for the Spanish club before joining Valencia in 2006.
It had been thought that his current team Fiorentina would allow the midfielder to return to Betis this summer, but the Italian side's president Andrea della Valle recently said that Joaquin was not for sale.
"I've made my decision. I only want to come home," Joaquin posted on social media.
The 51-time Spain international, whose current deal in Florence expires next summer, joined Betis in 1994.
