Manchester United are reportedly preparing a surprise move for Barcelona left-back Jordi Alba.
The Spanish international was heavily linked with Old Trafford during his time with Valencia, but he made the move to the Camp Nou in 2012.
At 25, Alba still has his best years ahead of him, but according to AS, Barcelona might be tempted into a sale if a big-money offer was received.
United, meanwhile, are on the look-out for a new left-back this summer despite Patrice Evra signing a new short-term contract.
Alba is currently on international duty ahead of the World Cup.
