Lazio midfielder Hernanes is reportedly keen to join Spanish outfit Atletico Madrid in January.
The Brazilian, whose contract with Lazio expires in June 2015, recently played down suggestions that he was close to signing a new deal with the Italian side.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Hernanes is unsettled in Italy and will therefore ask to leave in January, with Atletico boss Diego Simeone a keen admirer.
It is believed that Lazio would listen to offers in the region of £21m for the 28-year-old, who has made 22 appearances for his national team.
