Speculation that Grant Holt will join Aston Villa has risen this afternoon following Paul Lambert's appointment as manager earlier today.
Holt insisted yesterday that he was eager to leave Norwich City following a dispute with the club's board.
With his future the subject of many rumours at the moment, a number of reports have now tipped him to follow former Norwich boss Lambert to Villa Park.
Sunderland, West Ham United and Fulham have also been linked with the 31-year-old striker in recent days.
