Arsenal centre-forward Marouane Chamakh is a reported transfer target for former club Bordeaux.

Bordeaux president Jean-Louis Triaud has revealed that the club are keen to re-sign Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh.

The 27-year-old joined the Gunners in the summer of 2010 on a free transfer from the French club.

However, Chamakh has not started a Premier League match under Arsene Wenger this season and is reportedly unhappy at the Emirates Stadium.

Triaud is hoping to capitalise on Chamakh's disappointment, although he has confirmed that he is struggling to make contact with Arsenal.

"For the last two months, I have left at least four or five messages to ask if Marouane Chamakh is available," he told Gold FM.

"I also left messages on the mobile of Arsene Wenger some time ago and I have not had an answer."

Chamakh scored 56 goals in 230 appearances for Les Girondins.
