Wojciech Szczesny says that Arsenal are aiming for a top-four finish in the Premier League.

Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has said that the side are aiming for a top four finish in the Premier League this season.

The Gunners, who endured a poor start to the season, are currently fifth after Saturday's convincing 4-0 win at Wigan Athletic.

The result has left them two points adrift of Chelsea, who occupy the final Champions League place.

"We just want to win every single game from now on. We're very confident going into every game and we feel we have what it takes to get the three points," Szczesny told talkSPORT.

"Hopefully we will climb up the table and just do our best. Realistically we are aiming for the top four but if we manage to do that then we are just going to do our best to finish as high as we can.

"There are lots of games, and other teams are going to drop points and I hope we can take advantage of that and catch them up."

Arsenal, who have already qualified for the knockout stages, take on Olympiakos in the Champions League on Tuesday.
