Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey won't rule out Premier League title charge

Aaron Ramsey refuses to rule out a possible title charge from Arsenal after they won their sixth Premier League game on the bounce.

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has not rubbished suggestions of a possible late title charge for Arsene Wenger's team.

The Gunners secured their sixth consecutive league win with a 2-1 triumph over Newcastle United on Saturday.

The North London outfit are now one point behind second-placed Manchester City and seven points adrift of leaders Chelsea.

"In the Premier League, strange things happen," the Daily Star quotes Ramsey as saying. "Upsets happen - Manchester City went to Burnley and lost.

"We just have to focus on ourselves and believe other teams around us will be on the end of those upsets. And we've just got to be switched on and make sure it doesn't happen to us and maintain this run we're on."

The Gunners' next league fixture is at home to Liverpool on April 4 following the international break.
