Tottenham Hotspur centre-back Michael Dawson has revealed that he would "love to extend" his contract with the club.
The 29-year-old still has 24 months left to run on his current deal, and when asked about his future, Dawson insisted that he would have no hesitation in accepting a fresh offer from the club.
"I've got two years left and I'd love to extend that. Hopefully if the manager and the chairman want me for that long, it would be great," he said.
"I never gave leaving Spurs a thought last summer, having been here for eight years."
Dawson had the chance to leave Spurs last summer when they accepted a bid from Queens Park Rangers for his services. However, he opted to remain at White Hart Lane and has gone on to make 33 appearances this season.
