Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema has said that he will do 'everything in his power' to return to action for Wednesday's Champions League fixture against Paris Saint-Germain.
The French international picked up a hamstring injury during the recent international break and missed his team's 3-0 win over Levante at the weekend.
Benzema has admitted that it will be "difficult" to make the clash in Paris, but he is hopeful of playing a part in the Group A match.
"I'm doing everything in my power to get back quicker," he told Le Journal du Dimanche. "It'll be difficult to play that game on Wednesday in Paris, but I'll work hard to make it, although I don't want to force things."
Benzema has scored seven goals in eight games for Real Madrid this season.
