Montpellier HSC have stretched their lead at the top of Ligue 1 to three points with a 2-1 victory over Sochaux.
The hosts were in front after three minutes courtesy of Younes Belhanda but were pegged back in the 28th minute when Modibo Maiga netted the equaliser.
The teams went into the break level, however Souleymane Camara's 55th-minute goal restored Montpellier's lead.
The visitors rarely troubled Geoffrey Jourdren's goal and Montpellier coasted to a valuable three points in the title race.
