Sergio Aguero 'fit enough to start against West Ham United'

Sergio Aguero will be fit enough to start for Manchester City when they host West Ham United on Saturday.

Manchester City have reportedly been handed a boost with the news that Sergio Aguero will be fit enough to start against West Ham United at the weekend.

Aguero picked up a knee injury last Saturday from a Scott Dann tackle in the 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace and he was initially ruled out of the Champions League clash with Juventus.

However, the Argentine was fit enough to come off the bench in the 2-1 loss, and the Manchester Evening News claims that the striker is likely to return to the starting lineup when the Hammers visit the Etihad Stadium.

Wilfried Bony has started the last two games for City, but he looks set to return to the bench should Aguero start as Kevin De Bruyne and Jesus Navas are both pushing for spots in the team.

Manuel Pellegrini's side have won all five of their Premier League games without conceding a goal this season.
